In an interview with a journalist, Mkhutche revealed that the book will provide an insightful look into Chinga's life, from her birth on June 28, 1978, to her passing on March 16, 2016.
"We are in the final stages of preparing the book. The Chinga family has graciously shared valuable insights into the singer's life," Mkhutche disclosed. "As we anticipate its release in June, we welcome collaboration from anyone who cherished Grace Chinga's music to contribute to the book's production."
Mkhutche, known for his diverse writing talents, including co-authoring Billy Kaunda's autobiography "Hills and Valleys" and Lucius Banda's biography "Lucius Banda: The Man, The Music & The Politics," emphasized the importance of preserving history and culture, advocating for the establishment of a national museum.

Reflecting on the lives of the country's legendary artists, Mkhutche emphasized the complexities behind their successes and failures, underscoring how these experiences shape their artistic expressions. "For instance, Grace Chinga's dynamic stage presence stemmed from her upbringing in the church choir. Her lyrics, too, draw from profound life encounters, offering inspiration to many," he remarked.
Israel Chinga Moffat, one of Chinga's children, expressed gratitude for the forthcoming biography, acknowledging its significance to their family.
